Picaia, Ticino’s organic red merlot wine

Grapes and Vinification:

Merlot, vinification in stainless steel, 15-day fermentation, whole berry.

Tasting characteristics:

Intense ruby color, the nose expresses a broad fruity palette, raspberry and cherry in particular.
The mouthfeel is drinkable and elegant, accompanied by good freshness and distinct fruity notes appreciated on the nose.

Pairings:

A wine that is very well suited both to start the evening with an aperitif of cured meats and with risotto.

Best consumed between 16 and 18°C, slightly cooler than a regular red
