Characteristics and Vinification:

Picaia is made from Merlot grapes, carefully selected and hand-picked in our organic vineyards. Vinification takes place in steel, with a 15-day fermentation, during which only whole berries are used, a choice aimed at preserving the integrity of the fruit and enhancing its varietal characteristics. This method yields a wine of great aromatic expressiveness, with a perfect blend of Ticino’s winemaking tradition and modern sustainable production techniques.

Tasting:

Intense ruby color, the nose expresses a broad fruity palette, raspberry and cherry in particular.
The mouthfeel is drinkable and elegant, accompanied by good freshness and distinct fruity notes appreciated on the nose.
