Piaz Syrah is one of our most appreciated and prestigious red wines, thanks to its elegance and complexity which make this wine unique and unmistakable.

Grape variety: interspecific variety of the Cabernet Sauvignon family (VB-91-26-25).

Vinification: partially withered grapes in crates, fermented and macerated in truncated conical wooden vats for 25 days. Aged in barrique for 15 months. This product is obtained without filtration, respecting the principles of BioSuisse certified organic agriculture.

Geography: vineyards located in Val Mara, on the slopes of Monte Generoso with a predominantly South/South-East exposure. Well-draining soil with red porphyry parent rock. Production of 400 g/m2.

Aromatic characteristics: ruby red wine, revealing an initially subtle profile on the nose that gains depth after adequate oxygenation, unveiling elegant spicy and fruity qualities. On the palate, it is silky and expresses good acidity with well-balanced tannins, highlighting its balance and structure.

Pairing: ideal in combination with meat-based main courses, such as leg of lamb or Swiss beef fillet with pepper.

Ageing potential: ready to drink now, it already displays its balanced character. With 3–5 years of bottle ageing, the tannins evolve to become rounder and silkier, resulting in an even more harmonious and complex palate.

Optimal serving temperature: 17–19°C

Awards: the 2022 vintage scored 92 points at the Falstaff Syrah Trophy 2025 competition, whilst the 2023 vintage scored 93 points.
