Marà, Organic Rosé Brut Sparkling Wine, is one of the most refined and seductive expressions produced by Azienda Agricola Bianchi, located in Arogno, in the picturesque Canton Ticino. This sparkling rosé is born from the winery's innovative vision, combining traditional production methods with a strong commitment to sustainable and organic practices to create wines that reflect the pure essence of their terroir.

Grape variety: interspecific variety of the Cabernet Sauvignon family (VB-91-26-25).

Vinification: vinified according to the principles of the traditional method, with primary fermentation in stainless steel followed by a few months of ageing in barrique. Ageing on the lees takes place in our cellar. This product is obtained respecting the principles of BioSuisse certified organic agriculture.

Geography: vineyards located in Val Mara, on the slopes of Monte Generoso with a predominantly western exposure. Well-draining soil with a limestone base, featuring surface fragments of alpine origin and porphyry. Production of 600 g/m2.

Aromatic characteristics: pale pink in colour. Fruity nose of raspberry and wild strawberry. The perlage is fine and elegant, with good persistence on the palate. Fresh and easy-drinking, an approachable and pleasant sparkling wine.

Pairing: ideal as an aperitif and with light dishes such as local cured meats and fish dishes.

Ageing potential: fresh and immediate, it best expresses its aromatic vibrancy when enjoyed young. We recommend drinking it within 12–18 months to fully appreciate its fragrance and freshness.

Awards: the 2023 vintage was awarded 88 points by Falstaff in the Wein Guide Schweiz 2025.

Curiosity: there is also the "Marà del Lago" variant, a traditional method sparkling rosé aged on the bed of Lake Lugano. The "Del Lago" version is produced in a limited edition, and reservation is recommended 12 months in advance of its release (December 1st each year).
