This ancient elixir, known as ‘the drink of the gods’, stems from a tradition rooted in ancient history and is now reinterpreted according to the authentic, artisanal style of our company.

Our mead is made exclusively with Ticino honey from our own production, water and selected yeasts, without additives or artificial flavours, and left to ferment slowly to develop balance, roundness and aromatic complexity.

Azienda Agricola Bianchi's mead is produced through the natural fermentation of honey in water, resulting in a bright golden-coloured drink with a delicate, floral aroma. It is smooth and enveloping on the palate, with an elegant sweetness balanced by a slight freshness on the finish.

Production Process:

The production of mead begins with the selection of our honey, which is cold-processed to preserve all its aromatic properties. The honey is then dissolved in pure water and fermented with selected yeasts.

After several weeks of slow fermentation and a period of ageing, during which the mead acquires harmony and finesse, the drink is bottled without being filtered.

Tasting:

When tasted, mead offers a delicate and surprising experience: aromas of flowers, honey and ripe fruit blend together in a soft and velvety sip.
It can be enjoyed chilled as an aperitif, at room temperature after a meal, or slightly warmed in cold weather. It is also perfect with cheese, desserts and spicy dishes.
