Alma represents one of the gems produced by Azienda Agricola Bianchi, located in Arogno, in the green and lush heart of Canton Ticino.

Grape varieties: Johanniter and Solaris.

Vinification: alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel at low temperatures, with ageing on the lees and monthly bâtonnage. This product is obtained respecting the principles of BioSuisse certified organic agriculture.

Geography: vineyards located mainly in Val Mara, on the slopes of Monte Generoso with western exposure. The soil is well-draining with a limestone base rock, featuring surface fragments of Alpine origin and porphyry.

Aromatic characteristics: straw-yellow wine with greenish reflections. White flowers, white-fleshed fruit and aromatic herbs emerge on the nose. On the palate it is fresh and delicately mineral, with a finish that evolves into citrus notes. A fine and elegant wine with a balanced structure.

Pairings: perfect as an aperitif or as an accompaniment to light dishes such as fish-based first courses or risottos, chicken salads enriched with fruit, and rocket pesto.

Ageing potential: excellent when enjoyed young, as this is when it best expresses its aromatic bouquet. It can, however, be cellared for 5–6 years, developing more mature and complex notes, ideal for those seeking a more structured profile.

Optimal serving temperature: 7–9 °C

Available formats: 75 cl / 150 cl

Storage: store in a cool, dry place, away from light.

Alcohol content: 12.6%

Awards: over the years, this wine has received significant recognition, attesting not only to the excellence of Alma but also to the winery's commitment to producing high-quality wines.
