Chestnut Honey, 250 gr
The Chestnut Honey produced by Azienda Agricola Bianchi, harvested from hives located mainly in the heart of Mendrisiotto, is a treasure that reflects the authenticity of the Ticino region. This variety of honey is one of the most characteristic expressions of local biodiversity, obtained in accordance with the principles of BioSuisse certified organic farming.
Production: our Chestnut Honey is harvested at the end of summer, when chestnut flowers bloom in abundance, offering bees a rich and fragrant nectar. Processing, following traditional and environmentally friendly methods, preserves all the beneficial properties and distinctive aromas of honey, ensuring a superior quality product that is 100% organic and natural.
Aromatic characteristics: characterised by a bright yellow colour and a delicate, floral aroma, it has a light taste of ripe fruit.
Food pairings: thanks to its bitter note, chestnut honey enhances the sweetness of ricotta, goat's cheese and medium-aged cheeses by contrast. Excellent with lard, it remains unsurpassed in the classic trio with bread and butter.
