Grapes and Vinification:
Interspecific variety of the Cabernet Sauvignon family, first classic fermentation in stainless steel tanks and ageing in barriques for a few months before the second fermentation in the bottle, 14 months in contact with the yeasts. Once disgorged: added with its own liqueur d’expedition.
Tasting characteristics:
A wine of a claret pink colour with copper nuances given by the cabernet vine, brought to the nose it gives floral, fruity and fragrant reminiscences.
On the palate, a fresh finish, matched by a dense sapidity and a continuous ease of drinking thanks to a classy and fine perlage.
Pairings:
Local charcuterie and (unstructured) fish dishes from Lake Ceresio.
